Dr Hydrate is one of those all-in-one Australian electrolytes drinks that you only need to try once to understand what the hype is all about. Optimised to enhance hydration, physical performance, and aid recovery, Dr Hydrate is one of the most electrolyte-rich isotonic drinks available in the Australian market. It contains no less than 593mg of electrolytes, alongside L-Carnitine and Glutamine. Moreover, it is one of the few electrolyte supplements available in our country that also features sea minerals and probiotics.
Personally, it’s the one brand I go for whenever I want to stock up on electrolytes drinks before long-distance travelling. But there’s a problem. While it’s a fantastic product, Dr Hydrate is, for one reason or another, pretty much never available in the product catalogue of my local supplement shop. And that’s a bummer, as I like doing my purchases offline. Nevertheless, it’s hard to argue that online Dr Hydrate stockists don’t come bundled with their own set of distinct advantages.
Why Get It from Online Dr Hydrate Stockists?
I like my local supplement shop. They are top-notch when it comes to protein powders and the employees there actually helped me out with personal recommendations that proved to be more than useful down the line. But online official Dr Hydrate stockists carry the full flavour range of the product, and their inventory is fresher. I like Dr Hydrate products, but I don’t know for sure if this is the case with the rest of my local shop’s clients. Who knowns? Maybe the Dr Hydrate powder they have available was sitting there for a while.
Online-present Dr Hydrate stockists are more convenient when it comes to the availability of electrolytes drinks, and oftentimes, you also have the possibility of purchasing products in bulk, which can help you save on transportation costs. Dr Hydrate is more niche, so to speak, than other types of electrolyte drinks, and for this reason, it’s possible that it’s not always present in the inventory of your local shop. It certainly isn’t that often found in my local store. So, doesn’t it make more sense, in this regard, to go for the online route?
What Are the Top Benefits of Online Dr Hydrate Stockists?
I really do like the interactions I occasionally have with the employees of my local supplement store. The people who work there helped me during the early days of my fitness journey, and they have provided me with electrolytes drinks recommendations that I still use, four years later. But it’s hard to argue against the convenience of online stockists.
Ordering electrolytes drinks directly from digital platforms is straightforward, it can be cost-efficient, and oftentimes, you can find a product selection that’s better than what you can find in the catalogue of an offline store. Online stockists carry more flavours, they might have discounts for products purchased in bulk, and you also have the possibility of reading reviews before settling on a certain purchase. Now, are they always ideal? No. Or at least not if you live in a somewhat remote area.
I used to live near Lake Eyre a couple of summers ago, and let me tell you, receiving packages in that area was an adventure in itself. Nowadays, however, I live in Sydney, and the convenience of online stores is more than apparent. Most of my online purchases reach my doorstep in less than 48 hours, which in turn has made in-person store visits, at least for me, a thing of the past.
Why Dr Hydrate?
We all need a high-quality electrolyte drink from time to time. Or at least you do if you are active in high-intensity sports or you sweat a lot and your serum levels of electrically charged minerals are all wrong. Dr Hydrate is perhaps my favourite electrolyte drink available in Australia, as it has no added sugar, includes probiotics, which are quite uncommon with other electrolyte-rich powders, and also glutamine and L-carnitine, which are known to have an effect on ATP production. Why electrolytes in general? Now that’s a multifaceted question.
Electrolytes are electrically-charged minerals that help your body regulate muscle function, nerve signalling, and even maintain proper cell fluid balance. They are the blood of our blood if you want. But it’s really easy to lose them, as the hot Australian climate combined with our top-notch cooling solution (sweating), has the unfortunate effect of making us lose electrolytes, fast.
A Great Short-Term Boost of Energy
Electrolyte drinks can help your body retain fluids with more efficiency than just relying on water alone; they can restore proper muscle function and enhance recovery efficiency, as well as provide you with internal support when dealing with periods of illness. In fact, this is the main reason why I always have them with me. There are a few things worse out there than being down with a stomach bug, and having the nearby supplement shop hundreds of kilometres away from your location.
I travel quite a lot, and electrolytes and my passport are the only things that I realistically cannot live without. In a hot climate like this, in conditions in which sweating is pretty much expected, and for the prevention of potentially unwanted situations, there isn’t anything I would recommend more than simply investing in a couple of electrolyte drinks.
Don’t Follow My Example
I, at first, didn’t necessarily believe in the immediate impact of electrolytes. I thought working out and getting the occasional brain fog was the price I had to pay in order to see improvements in my physical appearance. But this was a mistake. Being overly tired, day and night, is not a sign that you are pushing yourself. It’s a sign you are letting yourself down.
Electrolytes are not here to compete with conventional training methods. They are here to enhance them, make your recovery more straightforward and help your body adapt to external stressors. Everybody needs them? No. But if you want to be better safe than sorry, there isn’t one single idea that would be better than investing in a high-quality electrolyte powder.
